|
|
I'm having a real headache trying to insure my newly acquired Trooper LS as being an import from EIRE the UK insurance companies do not have it listed only the Duty, Citation and the DT are listed..
Any other LS owners out there had the same problem. My registration document doesn't give any model/trim info.
Should I call it a DT so I can insure it? DVLA would also like to know. |

Was the LS not a Vauxhall Montery? or does the log book state it's an isuzu trooper? _________________ landcruiser 80 series 4.5, 35's/33's for road, 2inch lift, discreet winch, sliders/armour, factory lockers, stainless side exit +++++ |

It has the Trooper badges on both front doors, 3.0D DOHC Turbo on rear boot door but has LS badges behind rear doors.
Log book just says Isuzu and no model details. |

Thanks. Where can I locate the frame number on the car so I can match it with those on the site? It doesn't seem to be printed on the VIN plate. |

As long as its rust free there is a chassis number on the chassis in front of the drivers rear wheel, you should be able to see it by looking through the arch. _________________ |

The UBS73GW bit of the frame number matches my chassis number but the rest of the frame number given is totally different. Still, can't win em all!
Thanks Mark. |
