I ordered a pair of 638's and 438's the other evening for my trooper. The only place I could find them was Autosounds (£57 posted) or from the states on eBuygum which worked out expensive. Autosounds have just come back to me, there's going to be a delay on them as the 638's are coming from JVCs warehouse in Belgium. They have also advised that the 438’s are no longer available and have offered Kenwood 1064 instead. I'm assuming this should be ok, as the depth isn't as stringent in the back due to not needing to keep clear of the window motor?
Thanks

There are 2 or 3 sellers on eebuygum still selling the 438s for £29.99 inc postage.

Here's one of them...

They arrived yesterday and fitted them this aft. JVC's in the front and Kenwoods in the back - vastly improved sound quality and no buzzing!

All of my speakers have torn, front and back. All I could find was 16.5cm ones so bought the Blaupunkt ones I liked and made them fit in the front. I have the grills back in place so it all looks good, and they sound fantastic compared to the knackered ones I replaced. My next job is to soundproof the doors and stop the skins vibrating now lol
