How much is a service for a mk2 trooper in the UK?, missus just had one for £230 in the falkland islands, and thats with doing some bodywork stuff.

Hard to say as part of the reason a lot of use this forum is so we can do this sort of thing ourselves. Considering the location and knowing what work colleagues have paid for "ordinary" family cars I'd think that may be fairly reasonable at today's prices.

Isuzu dealer quoted me £250 for interim and £600 for major.  Needless to say I didn't book it in Smile  Who did the service In the Falklands?  Stanley presumably?

Just a guy in his shed I think, old fashioned mechanic who actually knows about 4x4's!. Closest to a dealership garage would be for land rovers. Think there are only 3 or 4 troopers on the island, pajeros seem to be the dominant wagon here now, taking over from land rovers. Brilliant place for a trooper though, jealous of my missus having it, will have to go back there for a couple weeks to have a play in it as she won't let me buy one here in the uk! Milners send out there too!
