Picked up a circa 1930s Columbus Model 22R (NZ made) radio frame for $4. Bloke said I could have it for nothing but I flicked him the coins I had in my pocket at the time.

Threw out what little original internal parts remained (rusted to buggery anyway) turning it into a computer. I'm not an electrician or wireless guru (valves etc) so correct restoration is out of the question.

Here's a somewhat crude sample - through in some old gear from a busted machine just for size.

(Power supply box isn't burnt - spraypaint.  Rolling Eyes

Plan:
- Build wooden frame to support a recycled micro ATX motherboard tray
- Paint motherboard tray black
- Install original Columbus radio tuner glass
- Mount two BLUE cold cathode tubes
- Install mesh over old speaker material hole
and so on....
