Any tips for removing Spark plugs  caps when changing  plugs   Question

The ht  lead seems to go a long way down  before it reaches the plug  Exclamation

Do i just pull harder or will this break the lead?  Sad

Yes thats all you can do, Chances are your plug oil seals are hardened allowing a slight bit of oil to seep down to the plug so this is whats causing the leads to seem stuck.

Yep a fair bit  of oil when plugs came out.

No broken leads but will slip plug cap and insulated spacer back along leads next time and use long nose pliers  or forceps to grab plug connector .

Thanks DYLAN  Very Happy

My 95 Trooper has about 180,850 miles on it this week and with the noisy engine and lack of power, I thought it was just the exhaust leak from one of the connector pipes that i can't fix yet due to being on the dole. (I've been unemployed for over 17 months now.)

Luckily, my daughter's ex-boyfriend is home for a few weeks break from an automotive school he is attending on a full-scholarship. Kuron took a drive with me...and we then decided it needs a tune-up.  So, when he pulled the first plug, he saw that the ground strap was almost burned thru!

"Yep...time for new plugs!"  So Kuron installed 6 Platinum Plus plugs...and thechange in sound and performance is fantastic!  My wife can't hear me when I pull into the driveway now...and the needle on the fuel gauge has barely  moved after 100 miles.  All done in about 20 minutes for $30.00 and a lunch on me.

Now...for that 1.75" hole in the exhaust flex pipe....and belts.
