has anyone got any experience on changing the manifold gaskets on a 2005 3.0 litre dmax.

i've been told mine is blowing and it needs changing i have noticed some soot like stuff on the inside carpet.

is this a job i could tackle myself?

i have never known one of those go yet and if it has how on earth is it getting inside the vehicle?

sorry for the delay on the reply broadband was down,

well the fella that told me it was going recond thats the problem and its coming in threw the vents .

i thought it sounded strange alright,

any ideas whatelse it could be ,

theres a vibration noise somtimes when i rev it up it seems worse when cold.
