Having had my electrics damaged for the second time due to recovery has anyone found a better way of mounting the electrics so that they are not right behind the tow ball?
Also does anyone know a cheap place to get a universal tow hitch - the sort with tow ball and pin? _________________ 3.0TD LWB Citation |

There was a thread on here that I posted ... I mounted the electrics on my 3.0 LWB using some of these plates from towsure... it allowed me to mount them to the crossmember behind the bumper. _________________ Isuzu Rodeo Denver Max LE | 265/65R18 BF Goodrich AT LTM No.60

Hi Chris
Did you drill into the cross member to attach the plates? _________________ 3.0TD LWB Citation |

I'm sure you could mount one to a bumper, holesaw and a homemade bracket inside it. Are NATO trailer sockets surface mount as fitted to military landrovers etc? You may need to rewire the trailer though as i think the pins are different. _________________ Phil

Yes - I had to mount them on long bolts with sections of tube over to step them down a little... im sure I have a diagram on the home PC. _________________ Isuzu Rodeo Denver Max LE | 265/65R18 BF Goodrich AT LTM No.60
