Go for the open coil type the one with the spring at the bottom the size of a beer can, both are base loadead and will give the exact same performance but if you like the looks of the other one with a nice little coil half way up the mast then go for that one but you will only be paying more for looks but not for the performance. Thuderpole do one called the Orbit and it is stainless steel so wont rust after a while like the painted coloured ones in your second link. _________________ Isuzu Duty Trooper 1993 Tdi LWB. |

well got my new (well nearly new) cb in although just sticking with the normal mounting place at the mo marky
(inbetween passenger seat and centre consol) and got a new springer and rear door bracket...tree's shouldn't rip it off now
(hopefully)
also fitted a quick release adaptor (handy little thing) so i can take aerial off on a night time so the local scroats can't nick it

Your Mk1 must have started its life up here in the north east, the sticker on the back is from where I got mine. |

Yeah it did, I was only the third owner, the first being a company who had it from new, the second only had it for about six months. I think it must have been an engineering company as the chassis was full of mud! _________________ Phil
