As I was driving home the other day at night from North Wales the lights were getting dimmer and dimmer. I was just praying that the battery had enough juice to keep the pump alive. Managed to make it.

Thinking the alternator was goosed, I sent it away to be tested. Nope .. it was fine. Grr .. electrical drain. Hate them.

Put it back together again and noticed the belt wouldn't tension. Must of stretched. Was hitting the end of the tensioner slot. Toyed with badly welding a bit in the middle to snap later. Ended up just making a new one:

Belt all tight and now got a lovely 14.3 volts pumping into the battery .. happy days.

Clutch was slipping badly so I swapped it out today. Took it easy and done in 6 hours. However when removing the rear propshaft this dribbled out:

Looked like diarrhea.

Decided to drain, flush and refill.

All good now.

The attention to detail was brilliant. Also my name and address written/printed on 4 times just in case Parcel Farce they missed it the first three times was genius.
