Hello everyone, Can anyone give me an answer, My 92 3.2 Citation has started showing me a CHECK ENGINE warning light on the dash, the car still drives and everything still keeps working when driving, however the speedometer stops. If, when the light comes on and the car is moving and I depress the clutch, the engine will stall but on turning the key it starts straight away. Anyone with any ideas?
Many Thanks

Mark

It might be the O2 sensor has given up or leaking inlet manifold gasket.

Hi is it speedo or tacho/rev counter that stops working, not sure about Isuzu but on many engines it's not uncommon for tacho pick up and spark plug fire pick up to be built into flywheel, if thrust bearing, on crankshaft wear when clutch is depressed can loose the signal as crankshaft puhes forward a little, not sure again how bigger job that would be on Isuzu engine if sump can come off in situ should be quite smple, but would suggest further checks to confirm fault first. Wink
