I have found that my 3.0L has one recall left to be done. My truck is running fine at the moment and don't really want to disturb. After reading some of the horror stories on here about things that have happened after visits to dealers, I am a little reluctant to take it anywhere. Any advice please.

The latest recall was just to check the injector numbers so nothing major done to them unless they are in the bad batch, chances are yours will be fine and not need anything doing.

Was thinking about whipping off the cover and checking numbers with those posted in this forum. If above the recall levels, probably won't bother. The sticker numbers end in 4220 but don't know what this means.

thats only the grade not the serial no. get a dealer to do it if they are below you will get a set for free. isuzu could end this at any point so don't wait until they do go wrong only to find isuzu have stopped paying for them.

Took everyones advice on here and have booked my troop in at the Cotwould dealer for the recall work and health check. haven't told the wife yet but she thinks we're going on a nice few days away. wonder what she'll think when I pull up on the forecourt. Might be the "its me or the truck".
Someone told me forgiveness is easier than permission. lets hope its true
