Got an 08 D-Max 3 litre. Does it have a DPF, cat, or nothing in the exhaust?

There's a bulge in the downpipe just after the manifold, but can't see any sensors etc, which would indicate it doesn't have a DPF. Is it a cat, or just some sort of muffler? If so, what happens after a few years when i assume it gets blocked up, or if I want to swap the exaust for something different.

Thanks for that. Does it mean it can be removed without any detriment?
