does anyone know how you remove the mirror glass from the door mirrors?

take mirror of pour hot water over the glass and plastic rim to soften  it get a small screwdriver and prise the glass out the water helps to soften the mastic holding it, once out you can get the plastic backing off the motor and to fit it back on is just a push fit

it is about 25 mm between glass mount and back of housing ,is yours broken ,which side ,if you want a hand i will come up ,i have a few mirror spares as well

get a p*ss head to punch your mirror like he did to mine last year, broke the clips and broke the plastic for good measure, duct tape holds my glass in Laughing
