I've decided after many hours thought and deliberation that I'm going to do a complete rebuild and restoration on my bike.

Ripped all the wiring out today and stripped the frame. Going to rub it down tomorrow and clean it all up to make it nice and flat again.

I'm going to do a complete re-wire myself. I've never tried it before but figured if it takes me a year to complete the bike, it'll be time well spent and will I'm hoping, give me a great feeling of satisfaction.

Has anyone else attempted something this big on a bike?

I'll post pics as I go along. Just for posterity I guess.

Cris

Just enamelled the frame. Nothing special but wanted to see how it looked or if I should do the powder coat it. It's not too bad so I think this is the way I'll go. Am liking the white. Although it'll be a pain to keep clean, it'll stand out I'm hoping.
