The gearbox uses the same oil as the engine so I used 10W40 semi synthetic.  There are drain plugs on the main gearbox and transfer box and also fill/level plugs on the sides.  Make sure the fill plug comes undone before you drain the oil as sometimes they can be a swine and you don't want to be left with no oil.  Thi diff, the fron just use EP80/90 Gear oil, the back depends on whether you have a limited slip diff, if no then the same gear oil, if yes then you need to use a specific LSD oil that has friction modifiers in it otherwise you'll kill the clutch plates in the LSD or you can use normal gearbox oil and buy the additive seperately and add it.

Yes the bottom one is the drain hole, to refill I suggest you buy a 500cc oil syringe from machine mart, you just suck up the clean oil from the can and stick the tube in the side hole and squirt it in until oil starts to ooze out of that hole and its at the right level.  Same with the gearbox.  You can get diff oil in squeezy bottles with a built in tube but its cheaper to buy it in bulk.  Can't remember how much they take but the gearbox holds a fair amount.

The plate under the bonnet will say G80 if it's LSD. But you can never be sure so the best thing to do is lift the back and spin the wheels.

If the two wheels spin in the same direction then its probably got an LSD if they spin in opposite directions then it probably doesn't.

As it happens there is, its on top and goes to the chassis  Laughing
Not much good filling through a breather though, it would take a decade.

Hi, if they don't spin in the same direction then you don't have an LSD fitted mate.
