Ok, so it's not the most likely explanation, but I've got a number of screws in my '94 bighorn's dash that don't tighten up properly because they are missing the little bit of metal that slips over the plastic hole with the threaded bit in them. I don't know what it is about these things, but they always seem to go missing (not just in my trooper, but in anything I've ever dismantled that uses them).
Does anybody know where to get a new supply (along with some suitable screws too)?

Steve,
Next time there is an autojumble/ vehicle related event near to you have a wander over. There are normally people there flogging all types of trim bits and fixings. Be very careful though. This could become an obsession and before you know it your garage and garden are full of *beep* old cars and trucks!
