Tried Flux, they won't cover in Northern Ireland.
They should check their own passports: it's called the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Stunning. _________________ Cheers

If AF can get it down like that, how much are the making on insurance?!!!! |
I believe that AF underwrite their own insurance - effectively, they could give insurance away if they felt it was a good enough risk
Not good business, but if they 'cherry-pick' their customers, the money they make on 'non-claims' is more than enough to cover some of their larger discounts.
Don't get me wrong ... I'm not saying this IS the way that AF work, just that they COULD do it that way if they wanted to!

I have gone with them yet again,
96 LWB 3.2 DOHC auto, only 2 years no claims private (due to being on a trade policy)
£300 wack on for 3rd part f&f but with unlimited milage, off road use, use of other vehicles etc, basicly all the perks of fully comp apart from they wont
pay for mine if its my fault
I also paid £52 for the full recovery package, £1 a week is mega cheap _________________ |

So how are you covered for offroad use, if they wont pay out if it's your fault that you've hit a tree or slid thro a stone wall??? _________________ aka x66dag

They will pay any damage to 3rd parties but not for the insured vehicle if at fault. _________________

O I didn't realise that play day offroading was a contact sport, so like TOCA without the tarmac _________________ aka x66dag

It's that time of year for our insurance to be renew'd and Adrain Flux with it's off road cover and the flux recovery package
does at the moment come back most favourable, another bonus is that they understand that the Isuzu immobiliser is real
and it is fitted to the car and it works via the ecu and that it's not made by Thatham but is as good. they also claimed I get a 15%
club discount for being a ITOC member but didn't ask for membership number, got a few other calls to make including the club insurance
It's good to hear a few other members have placed there trust in AF _________________ aka x66dag

Hi,
Brand new here just bought Rodeo awesome piece of kit. Has anybody ever seen any paperwork from Adrian Flux in relation to their cover for off road? They have stated that they don't provide any written confirmation of the off road cover but that because the initial confirmation was a recorded conversation then you will be covered.
The certificate of motor insurance reads the same as my previous policies for regular 2WD saloon cars or vans I have owned. "excluding use for .......test circuit or off road activity."
I rang and questioned the above but was told that means racing off road. However my problem is, that is not how the policy reads and I don't have any paperwork (paper or e mail) stating anything different.
Are Adrian Flux ok or a bunch of chancers? Has anybody had to use them for an accident either on or off road?
Many thanks. |

There offroad cover is for private use, it will not cover motorsport, green lanes are fine and so is driving on fields and paying to drive on private property, BUT dont expect your truck to be fixed if you trash it at a playday as I'm sure its 3rd party.
I would phone them again to be sure, and no they aint chancers. _________________ |

Just to add, I ripped the back end off mine at a playsite and they sent recovery no questions asked direct to the site and took me 100 miles home _________________ |
