I did contact them.    £200 over what my renewal was with my present insurer.  They said they could not match.  Blown out.

Well due to a recent bump i had AF have cemented my decision never to go near them again, I phoned them with all details telling them i'd had a bump and their reply was

" Your insurance is with Markerstudy please inform them, It's nothing to do with us"

Shocked  Shocked  Shocked  Shocked

WTF am i paying them a brokers fee for then??????

AF if you scan these forums forget the premiums for the 2 (soon to be 4) Vehicles in my household in the future, I'd prefer to pay triple premiums than to pay you a penny more than i already have.

BTW for those of you who notice time of posting, I've been taken over by owl syndrome Laughing  Laughing  Laughing  Laughing

Playing 'Devil's Advocate' here Dylan but ...

They do have a point.

Somewhere in your insurance 'pack' will be details of who to call in the event of an accident - AF aren't the 'accident management' team.

I know! Shoot me down in flames!!! I suppose, if your account is correct, they could simply have reminded you who it was you actually needed to call - but you say they already did that? dontknow

I wouldn't shoot you down for giving me information on a subject you clearly know about Wink  I always thought that was what a broker was for, To act on your behalf? In the last twelve months i have had a few issues with them, I dont rate their service at all, I know some people are more than happy with them but i speak as i find and i have found them very unhelpfull on more than one level.

Im with af and decided to go with them as they did not try and sting me for all the mods and they know exactly what you are talking about.

Just had my renewal quote from Flux, £439, full NCB etc. for 3rd party fire and theft. Tried Sureterm Direct, £237. Considering I've had grief lately(and expense) changing cars with Flux, admin fees, cancellation fees etc., guess where my monies going?

I was insured with Adrian flux until recently Rolling Eyes , found them to be to expensive when quoted at renewel date. I have a 1997 Monterey 3.1 TD Diamond spec. and a 2004 Vauxhall Vectra SRI 3.0 L CDTI, called Admiral multi car and saved "LOADS!!!" of money. Insured both vehicles on one policy  Very Happy .....

Just renewed with AF, been with them for several years, had no probs with different mods. Have had them beat other quotes and this year couldn't find anything cheaper on the various compare sites. When I had a grumble about the £30 renewal fee they knocked it off.
