I believe the ratios are different from some petrols and diesels and also 'A' and 'B' series. Its a bit of a minefield. Best wait for GreaseMonkey to come on board as he would know for sure. Either that or ask the question on a Frontera Forum. GreaseMonkey is on Fronteras Owners Group

as well so it might pay you to drop in there. _________________ 1990 Isuzu Bighorn LWB Mk.I 2.8TD Manual Lotus Edition

one from the same model should do but check ratio first
a lot of the A series frontera's were on leaf spring so there no good
you need to look for one that is on coil's about 96/97 onwards
you could always fit a trooper one with same ratio _________________ cheers

Am I being thick here or isn't there an issue with the Trooper and Frontera diffs? I'm sure one is a slightly different size as not all propshafts fit? _________________ 99/00 Frontera B 3.2 V6

The frontera and trooper rear diff are not much different strength wise just its more common to get LSD on the trooper diffs.
Fitting a trooper axle to a frontera would mean lengthening the trooper prop
strength wise not much in it, its the front trooper diff thats a bit stronger and enables lockers to be fitted _________________ cheers

the front diff ratio will be the same as a rear diff (or you will get windup when in 4x4 mode) _________________ cheers

Hi - you'll need one thats the same ratio - without a chassis or reg i can't match it but i would say that as you have asked about an RS then its a B series - also that its a diesel 2.2 dti - as you asked if a petrol one would fit
I would also say there are 100's of these in breakers due to fuel pump failure so spares are easy -
i would also guess that the LWB and SWB have the same ratio -
You require one from the same year to be certain i would ask for the tab to be checked
hope this helps
cheers
