First thing to do is whip the inlet pipe to the turbo off (couple of clips) and check that you can or can not spin the impellor with your fingers. _________________ Never let a meal go by----Empty sacks dont stand up!!! |

Sticky rear brake caliper will do that too , just look at the discs after a run . _________________ 2 New Troopers ! |

check the hoses after the turbo to inlet could be a hole.
i think tho it would smoke if there was a hole. other thing it could be is a blocked diesel filter they do strange things when they cant supply the fuel _________________

If your turbo was not kicking in then you would definatly feel no power what-so-ever. All it serves to do is heavily block both inlet air and exhaust gasses out. The truck will struggle to get anywhere above 30 mph. I would think its something else thats the problem. Check your air filter hasn't gummed up .. or even better for the sake of £10 replace it. _________________ 1990 Isuzu Bighorn LWB Mk.I 2.8TD Manual Lotus Edition

on a euro2 engine it's at the front of the inlet manifold with a pipe going to the manifold itself, on a euro3 engine it's at the back and is fitted straight in to the manifold no pipe. |

could be they do block up so just disconnect the exhaust at the joint above the main oil filter and give it a run, |
