And no doubt a great sound for the casualty knowing they are finally on there way
It was a huge relief to see the first 2 medics as i was starting to shiver (shock more than cold as i was well wrapped with donated coats )
but to hear the unmistakable sound of a werlly bird makes you feel like the whole hospital had just arrived. AWESOME
charmin , the sound of my bad jokes was'nt comforting enough haha , i can take a hint

Had my leg re-xrayed today and a removable cast put on untill next week so they can remove the stitches. Got a 7-8inch scar
above the metal plate 3 screws below the break and 4 screws above, the other break below the knee they will leave to heal on it's own.
wouldn't let me have an xray copy _________________ aka x66dag

Went to the hospital this morning and had the stitches taken out Instead of putting a proper cast on for the next 6 weeks
they have given me another removable cast, but unlike the last 1 this looks like a cross between a motobike boot and
the boot that was attached to my mono water-ski, they also gave me a printout of the plate in my leg

Sometimes they are removed due to being painful guess it depends on how the muscle and tissue regrow round it,
generally they leave them alone. _________________ aka x66dag

After reading this and before replying I removed the cast boot and stocking then got one of Ross's magnets
Bare leg, magnet didn't stick gutted no drunken party trick, still at least it shouldn't rust _________________ aka x66dag

You can get a copy, you have full access to your own medical records including sly comments put by nurses
Unfortunately, that isn't quite true, whilst it does stand in the main, there is a rule that can be quoted if the patient would suffer by disclosure of certain details. This is mainly used in the likes of the mental health wards, to prevent suicidal/schizophrenic/depressed etc patients becoming worse mentally because of what has been written in their notes - but some hospitals will hide behind this rule to cut out any "sly comments" etc
Oh, and Dave, have you ever thought of selling fish?
