Had a hospital appointment today and was hoping that they would say lose the air boot and start physio, they get back to work by mid nov.
Wasn't to be rexrayed and told me the Tibia has still not fused together yet, the was still a gap, and they had told me to come back at the end
of november to be xrayed again. Wont be back to work this year Rolling Eyes  Sad  
looks like roast robin for dinner this year Shocked

Had the leg re x-rayed again and the bone has not fused together yet,  Sad  told to come back again on the 10th jan for another x-ray
and go from there Rolling Eyes

Thanks guys, yeah it's a bit of a downer might even be able to given a few of the rooms a much needed lick of paint before the tree goes up.
Although the bone hasn't fused properly yet I can still limp about without a stick but after a couple of hours walking / standing onit
my leg swells up and gets uncomfortable, but like I've said before, at least I'm able to spend qualty time at home with baby Owen.

Thanks for asking mate,, last x-rays showed a fuzzyness over the break and over the ends of the screws, which the doctor told me
was good as it means it's healing on the outside of the break, told me to go and see the GP after the 7th so I'll get him to sigh me back to work
the following monday (14th), last couple of weeks of freedom and shes having me paint lounge hall stairs landing and at least 1 if not all 3 bedrooms
as pay back for nursing (putting up with me for the last 5 months) Laughing

Well after 24 weeks off work I returned to the mud and slime yesterday.
Beautiful sunny day boss in the states playing golf great first day back  Cool
Today it was proper bitter cold,  Shocked  then it pissed it downall afternoon  Rolling Eyes
Still, looking forward to a real wage packet after 6 months.  Wink

Thanks for everyones help and support, espcially in the early days. Cheers Guys and look forward to seeing you all in 2011
