Hello Smile

I think its worth to take the challenger because besides rusty frame the car is great. After this rebuild it will be close to factory new. Its worth to do that when You are sure not to sell it, or not to sell it quick.. Razz! The Laird i will be really, really  careful  Laughing .

I finished another part of the project Razz frame is just a bare metal right now Smile On Monday it goes to sanding, after that i will start to paint it etc. I have to buy a lot of new screws, new rubber body mounting,  2 new universal joints and some small stuff. I'm not sure about springs - they looks quite fine i don't know if it worth to change them. Another set Smile :

front diff unbolted

without control arms, hubs and all rusty things..

rear differential

now i know why i had troubles with my hand brake  Rolling Eyes

springs looks not that bad

Do it Yourself - today Isuzu Trooper

naked frame..

Frame is just after sanding - it looks good besides first and last crossmember. I will weld some plates on them. I already applied first coat of zink paint. Here you can see the results :

Thank You guys! Your post are really motivating Smile

Frame is welded and covered with 2 coats of anti rust base. I cleaned and painted front knuckles also removed everything from rear axle, tomorrow it goes to sanding.  I will have to change rear brake discs so i think i will change front ones as well. I will start to put rubber coat on frame as soon as my pistol will arrive.

welds are not so beautiful because of 90& zinc in paint.

whole rear cross member is covered with 3 mm plates.

knuckles cleaned and painted
