Well good job I am not doing it then, Can't see how they can do that if you are using the 4x4 off road and switch back for road use, just have to make sure the second tank is hidden I don't as the tax man pays for all my fuel so not really bothered but still hate the amount of tax they charge and I think if they were fare with it people would not mind as much, look at the state of the roads why do we bother paying road tax?? If you drive over to France the difference in the road surface is massive! |

At the end of the day the difference between white and red is smaller than the difference between red and wvo.
If I were driving a modern diesel (not 4x4) I would just throw red in it, it doesn't take long to save the £500 fine for using it...
My vehicle looks like its owned by a poor farmer and they are exactly the people who throw red in the car, so I'm more likely to get dipped. Saying that, I have never been pulled by a copper in it and I have had it for almost 2 years. _________________ 1994 Isuzu Trooper 3.1TD 146,000 miles - Now dead

although running on red is the easiest way to save a bit of money , most people dont want to break the law in their day to day lives , and from my understanding the penalties can be a lot worse than 500 pound. i hope everyone knows that running on red diesel or any untaxed fuel apart from those which have concessions like biodiesel and wvo is a serious offence of tax evasion , something that the law looks very dimly on
i dont mean to be a moan but i wouldnt want to think there are people out there thinking its not a series offence to use red diesel on the road . |

Completely agree but as you say you can't run many modern diesels on oil/bio, the goverment are thick as f**k they could reduce the tax slightly on fuel, fags and beer and they would see more used and gain more money and not have to invest in anti tax evading as much but then they say they are doing it for our own good and the good of the planet, all this global warming sh*t which they fly in a jumbo jet half way round the world to discuss and come up with stupid things like turn your TV off instead of it being on standby and you will save the planet, what a crock of sh*t your telling me my little red light on my tele is doing more damage than you flying half way round the world in a jumbo jet to discuss this! The other thing is fag's and beer we only put tax on these for your benifit, yea right not to pay for you lazy b*stards to have your moat cleaned or for you to watch "Red Hot Home Secretarys" on the porn channel at my expense, it's all a big con and we all just sit back and accept it, were does all the money go? If you ask any normal person a question like is it raining outside they say yes or no but a MP goes "well due to the blah of the blah it's blah" the b*stards can't lie striaght in bed. So we should all give up work sign on the sick, run on red diesel and smoke imported fag's and beer and watch them run two Jag's then! |

If you have a second tank with red in it and the police dip your tank they will only find dino in there unless your unlucky and they ask to see inside the back of the car and discover the second tank? |
