went to have the tracking checked this morning and it was 2 degrees out, the tyre man put his spanner on it and couldnt budge it so he put a piece of pipe on the spanner and the spanner snapped
dunno why the so tight as it had the tracking done 2 years ago,
on the bright side, changed the oil today, done 4400m since the last change but gave her a treat by doing the 2 oil filters (made sure the seal came off this time ) _________________ atb kevin

Once snapped a snap on breaker bar, that was without putting an 'extension' on it _________________ 1999 3.1td SWB Trooper. RIP

In all fairness i've broken my snap on stuff before, it does get used everyday so to be expected but it gets replaced under warranty. _________________ landcruiser 80 series 4.5, 35's/33's for road, 2inch lift, discreet winch, sliders/armour, factory lockers, stainless side exit +++++ |

Never managed to break a snap on spanner - done the knuckle on a breaker bar before but never a spanner
fair share of screwdriver tips too - and a small flame burner lol
our local snap on man has binned it so have quite a small collection started lol
and i'm not proffesional any more
however i still like snap on - not sure about blue point though not the same quality
i like the spanners by snap on as they have the teeth
cheers

Teng is good as well. Use their normal sockets in the 1000Nm Ingersoll all the time, no probs.
Had split snap ons before, rep didn't wanna know, never used them again.
IMO even chinks give better service. |
