2 litres of frying oil for £1.24 but it's only this Saturday and Sunday.
that's 62p a liter, half the price of the pumps. _________________ 1994 Isuzu Trooper 3.1TD 146,000 miles - Now dead

A bit worried about using veg oil in my Trooper as i have never done it before , Is it that simple as pouring it in half a tank of diesel and half a tank of veg oil of the shop shelf , If anyone can advise me on this i would be most grateful i have a 1993 Trooper Bighorn 3.1 THANKS FOR ANY FEED BACK |

depends who you ask. a couple of people have told me not to run it as the pumps arent strong enough, but people obviously run it without major problems. ive run my trooper on 89.9/10/0.1 veg/petrol/nail polish remover
and apart from having issues with the fuel filter head, its running fine |

I found my 3.1 bighorn ran ok 50/50 in summer, I always put 100ml of white spirit in the tank, supposed to prevent gumming up.
I put a fuel preheater on it, as I found temps' below 4 degrees, the engine would be bit of apig to start.
These were my findings. I ran on SVO for 3 yrs. _________________ I DIDN'T TOUCH IT, HONEST!
