Where is the best place for cheap insurance I only do 5000 miles a year and only use the trooper occasionally
I have my 3.1 mreg SWB commercial with the AA but they have nearly doubled the cost to £250 third party

I have tried the comparison sites plus a few others best quotes for fully comp was also £250
with 1st Central but the customer service review was dreadfull
third party was the same price

any ideas folks?

Try Frank pickles they do 4x4 limited mileage.

Phone them, It's usually better than the online form.

I use Frizzell, £182 (full no claims) for fully comp, with £150 excess. Trooper is a 3.2 petrol V6, LWB 1995.

I'd recommend getting a quote for fully comp cover too. For some strange reason it is actually cheaper than tpf in most cases.
I used moneysupermarket to get a quote, ended up with co-op insurance again, just via kwik fit instead of the post office
