going to have new windscreen done under insurance one fitted looks like has no tint at all, do you think i should ask for a tinted one ?

Yes just ask what tints they have and then choose, BTW i'd be very supprised if there is no tint on yours(they are very subtle)

To tell you the truth i think it would go with any colour, It's a nice clean subtle tint, The reason it's the most popular it because it's the cheapest Wink IIRC anything other than bronze is about £30 more Wink

its on the insurance so there is choice of about 6 tints

I get no choice with mine, has to be same as the one taken out. Won't even let me haggle for a built in sun strip.  Mad
So have to have a bronze one fitted to replace the cracked one before the mot.

Shop around mate, Your insurance might have a prefered fitter but that does not mean you have to use them Wink

On that subject you could buy Autowindscreens for a quid, Yes £1 then give itoc 50% discount Laughing  Laughing  Laughing  Laughing

Only trouble is you have to pay their debts, Think it's about 7 Million, They tried that with Woolworths and no-one bought it Laughing  Laughing  Laughing

Tells you something when the Rac bought it and let it go to Aviva and they got rid too, I dont think it will ever trade again.

400 out of work in this town alone through it.

i was offered a green or bronze tint when they phoned me up today so settled on bronze which to be honest is i think is what iv got anyway
