Just to let you all know there are 2 types of oil filter for the 3.1,

The most common one is about 3.5 inches diameter and 5 inches long and has Boshi part number 8-94340-697-0 (Milners 001588)

The less common one is about 3.25 (three and a quarter) inches diameter and 6 inches long. My 92 Bighorn had one of these, with Boshi part number
8-97167-972-0 (Milners 001768)

It took me a while to work this out, and three days off the road. It's awkward checking first, but even more awkward getting the wrong one out of the box. Wink
