Just filled up the Troop for the first time since setting off to Derbyshire. I've done 429 miles on a tank full ???? makes only firing on 3 cylinders more appealing  Rolling Eyes

Jesus, thought the Disco was bad on fuel, same size tank and I get 580 miles a tank running on all four, can get over 1000 miles when I go up Scotland as it comes back on the RAC wagon...LOL
P.S I am not a tight as Marky I do genuinely break down and as I fully paid up member of the "bonnet up" club they believe me...LOL

The 2.8TGV is a bit better on fuel than the 300TDI but the extra weight and height sort of evens them out, they will do 34-36 MPG in a Standard size Disco I get 29 which is about 580 miles on a tank. I get an average of 52 out of my Volvo V70 and Sam gets 24 out of her Focus ST Shocked Could not live with 17MPG I would be crying don't know how Marky copes with that can't blame him for ringing the RAC to get back from a long trip Shocked  I think I would ring them to get me there as well!!!LOL
