After having my rig let me down at the derby meet of all places im going to retire it with a hammer as ive treated the truck to a new maycom EM-27.
Looks like a very nice bit of kit, high spec and its a tried and tested cb so hopefully it will do the trick.
Might even think about relocating the position of it in the truck.

I remember both, the pot of tea at the posh ramblers pub and the boxes of wine still flowing at 3am lol

No that was user error, I hadn't flicked the switcher box over, but at the last meet I couldn't get it to work at all
