I have a 1998 3.0 citation, ive read threads saying i need to use 5w 30 fully synthetic is this correct?

Ive ordered the oil and filter kit from milners which states 5w 40....(oversite on my part, wrong oil i think anyway) BUT they have delivered 10w 40 semi synthetic!!

At a guess this wont do the job?

Please help many thanks

Mad isnt the word, it wont even start properly with the wrong oil as its used in the high pressure system to fire the injectors.
