I need to fit a new starter motor to my 91 trooper which I have had for 5 years and dont know how to start the job.

can some one help me out on how to change the starter.

If it's a diesel (2.8TD) get a copy of the Haynes Frontera manual and it will tell you exactly what to do as they have the same engine.

did mine not long ago

17mm bolt from underneath behind the box u get at it, another from the top of the engine.

14mm nut for the +Ve lead, u can get it out without bending the dipstick tube!
