Hi all,

As above, I have checked the pipes and they're not loose, when I pull the switch that should activate the wipers and the water, the wipers work fine but no water comes out.

The tank is full of screen wash.

I noticed that when I pull the switch it doesn't make any noise, does this mean some kind of pump is not working?

I can't see a fuse for it on the fuse board, just the wipers and they work fine.

Any thoughts would be appreciated, thanks!

Atb,
Danny.

Hi,

I have tried the fuses but it's not that as the wipers work fine.

Anyone know what other problem it could be?

There was mention that it might be the washer bottle, there is still water in the bottle so what could the problem be (I don't think it's a blockage, could it be some kind of pump failure?)

Thanks!

pump probably broke. You may need to take wing off to get at the terminals to test it

Thanks mate, that sounds awkward alright, if it is the pump any idea what I'd be looking at price wise for a new one??

It's a 2.8td MU by the way, thanks.

Atb,
Danny.

Hi. My wipers are working but I only get a small residual voltage (sub 1v) at the pump, which doesn't change when I operate the washer. Ideas? Wires disappear into the body - looks like a nightmare to chase. Thanks.
