Has anyone ever attempted to install a DAB radio in a Bighorn?  It seems a roof aerial is essential here in the Scottish Borders.  Has anyone any experience of fitting one?  Halfords and such like give up at the first attempt.  If I know it can be done I might have the courage to give it a try.

My Sonichi DAB came with a short magnetic ariel. I just ran the lead up the side of the windscreen and stuck  it to the roof. It works fine.  Have you tried a mag aeriel to test it before you go through the hassle of installing a roof mount?

Got a dab in my landcruiser, got a screen mounted aerial that goes on inside of windscreen. Get good signal and rarely cuts out.

Vebra mags are the best ones - don't be put off by the size! Work a treat!
