I am struggling to find answers or advice on this - Google has nothing.

Wife has a 1996 Iveco 75E Horse box, and we notice in the colder weather (i.e. just starting about now) the Indicators can occasionally do not work on start up(nor Hazards).
They seem to fix themselves sometimes after 10 mins, as if current dries out a bad connection etc

I figured a sticky relay and went through the glove box fuse box to feel for ticking flashers / relays but Google appears to suggest it is an 'Electronic' which I read as expensive  flasher module.

Any ideas or suggestions are welcome !

Try putting a fan heater in the cab and leaving the windows open a small bit - i found this worked great for my car during the winter months
i had it on a timer - 10-15 minutes was more than enough to dry it out and remove all the moisture each morning
regards
Steve

similar thoughts have crossed our mind but unfortunately the Lorry is up at a livery yard so that is not so practical.
Also as I have read in one place it is an 'Electronic' Flasher rather than conventioanl electro-mechanical.

I suppose we turn on the engine and turn on the Lorry Heater unit too but the lorry is a through cab so a huge void to heat and dry out quickly.

You could always invest in a night heater - well worth it for the winter and boy can they pump out the heat
cheers
Steve

The Lorry has a night heater / Eberspaecher Blower unit.
I guess what doesn't help is sometimes it only gets a run out once a week or 10 days - and I guess there is condensation in there somewhere........

All electronic flasher units are sensitive to the alterator output voltage so check that first .

Mmmmm, just thinking aloud here on the Voltage from Alternator thought.

Leaving it in Winter, it potentially gets left for longer.

Batteries take a little more of a Hammering in the cold / length of time.

Do the flashers kick in once I have driven a few miles and 'Topped off' the batteries versus the thought that it could be a 'amps through them, warming up the circuitry, drying out any damp joints' that I previously suspected ?

mmmm - I think I need to investigate that thought.

When you say susceptible to alternator Voltage do you think that it is 'Hard Charging' that would through them ?

The demo company I was on had a few of these iveco 7.5 tonners and in the winter sometimes the flashers would not go till they had run a  bit .

It was not damp as they were inside a dry building , all I found was the flasher is a solid state item ( not sure if yours is the same ! ) but the iveco wiring is complex and until the volt gauge went over 27v  ,no indicators .

I doubt its damp as trucks are made for working with big old boys getting in and out in all weathers  -

I guess yours is a 24 V set up ? so till you get 27v + its not really charging .

Gribble your suggestions of Voltage / 24V+ makes some sense and needs investigating more I think.
Perhaps a Voltmeter on the dash as an add on.....
