|
|
Hi guys,
In the newbie section I've discovered I have bought a TF.
I'm trying to find out its towing / load / axle weights
Google is useless.
I can't look in the truck for info as I haven't collected it and I'm towing a BIG load back with it so I could do with them before I get there.
Mine is a LWB version which I can't find any info on.
I'd like to post a pic but as I'm a newbie I can't.
Does anyone have any info on them ?
Thanks |

Yes but there isn't a TF Forum
It seems to share a lot of bits with the Rodeo and I've seen them described as a Rodeo in some markets. |

Jesus that things huge! You need a LGV licence to drive that?
would like to see my missus reverse park one of those at the supermarket.
Didn't realise isuzu did pickups that big, looks like a pickup from one of the US dealers. _________________

Weren't they used quite often with a 5th wheel on for towing massive caravans? Or 5th wheel trailers as they are known. |
Funny you should mention that...
That's why I wanted to check towing weights

Very nice
The towing limits should be on a plate unless its in jap
Other than that the MAM should be the same as the relevent year rodeo. _________________ |

I've read up on it and it seems that the way it works is that the trailer weighs 4 tons.
The towing weight allowed is say 3.3 tons
And the load weight allowed is 1 ton so they say the other .7 tons is being carried NOT towed.
Its all a bit of a grey area. |

It will be applied brakes that work from the trucks brakes instead of the brakeback system used on normal trailers.

Yes apparently its VOSA who do spot checks that you need to worry about.
I've only ever towed a car trailer before so tomorrow could be a steep learning curve ! |
