|
|
Well as title suggests i've been fitting my xmas prezzie off the Mrs today with some help from Mark (ecp), cheers Mark.
She got me one of those snorkels (which may come in handy at some point ) off the bay so here's how we went about fitting it.
First off out with the old air intake, removal of air box and new drilled holed for inner piece of snorkel to fit to air box.
Then the template for the outer wing was offered up and pilot holes drilled.
Here goes
No going back now!!!!
Next it was offered up as a dry fit, holes painted and just a try to see if it all fit and holes were in correct place.
Everything fit fine, templates were spot on
The joints etc were then siliconed just for extra piece of mind and everything bolted up etc
Fitting the top piece
And some pics of the finished job
All in all quite a simple but fiddly job to do, only took a couple of hours, worst bit of the job (apart from drilling your motor ) is the fiddly clips that keep the wheel arch liner thing in place _________________

Nice job. Looks like you're gonna have to spend some money at the end of the month though............................................................................................. when your tax runs out. |
