Forgot to say i spent some xmas money on friday, and had a blast from the past snooping around a scrap yard and found a 3.1 SWB, and a petrol monteray fully intact until i robbed the drivers seat out of it  Very Happy  Very Happy  Very Happy

i have felt like im sat on the floor with my none adjustable Duty seat, now i have one with similar trim with adjusters and a arm rest lol heaven..

dropped it off at a pals after helping Adan fit his snorkel and he is going to take it to work and hot steam wash it so its like new.

then happy days. i can see over the steering wheel lol. Surprised  Surprised

Your welcome  Razz . I still had eebuygum alerts set up since I bought my safari snorkel a couple of years ago! They look really good, especially with the "trooper" on the side, I was tempted to buy one and sell my safari one with "jackaroo" on the side for more money on the bay  Twisted Evil.

I made a cardboard template to locate the forward hole, then put the outside bolt in it, and used an auto center punch to make a dimple that I could see from under the hood( air filter removed) I then drilled into the dimple from the engine side of the inner fender, hope this helps

well it was my turn this wk end to give adam a hand fitting new snorkel after he changed his truck to a 3ltr SWB
so new holes to drill which was no prob using old template ...............the point of no return lol

as it is designed for a 3.1 slightly more probs matching inner wing section to air box as the 3.1 air box intake pipe sits further forward than the 3ltr .... adam was thinking about fitting a 3.1 air box but after some latteral thought we solved problem so no extra cost needed buying a 3.1 air box ...... little job to do to finish system off but we're happy with result
