I recently went for a drive on some lanes that I've not used for ages, shown in the link, I hope! If you go left on the satellite image, follow Cinder Hill lane 'upwards,  until it meets Hough Ln and Oozewood Rd. At the end of Cinder Hill Ln you turn right, onto Oozewood, straight away you hit a gate and stile: trouble is someone has chained the gate up!  Used to go through the farm/stables and out the other side, where the road turns to tarmac, and back onto the main road. i assume the property owners have chained the gate up, but how do i check what right they have?

local council will have a rights of way officer who will have a "definitive" map of ROWs that are closed or TROd. Or try GLASS and find the local rep and email him

Check it out on trailwise if you have grid refs, normally up to date, Like Dan says use definitive map.

Great!  Twisted Evil
I will have to find somewhere else, the road after Oozewood has been closed by the council as well, they dropped a huge boulder in the road to stop cars being dumped!  Crying or Very sad
