Hi all

Not wanting to put a dampner on things but I think the more ppl that are aware of this the better

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-shropshire-17981586

http://www.safelincs.co.uk/blog/2011/08/18/camping-deaths-due-to-carbon-monoxide-poisoning/

Barbecues give off the most Carbon monoxide  once they are ash , you can't see it you can't smell it and once your overcome it's too late

So keep all cooking devices well out of tin tents and tents , the last death of a 45 yrs old man he was cooking in the porch of his tent.

I have been saddened by these tragic losses of life and the same thoughts occurred to me that
perhaps a reminder should be advertised on here to all that are attending the Big Bash of the dangers of co2 poisoning Sad

It is very sad, as a parent its even more so when a child dies from it.

I wasn't aware of the danger so its good advice for everyone

Thanks for the heads up on the indoor BBQ, it must be so tempting on a cold evening  Sad

On another note, 22 air ambulances have been grounded so dont go wandering off the lanes (leave that to ramblers)
We have only had one injury in the last seven years and that was a Bear attack at Buildwas  Shocked

I've just checked the GLASS website, and it appears the TRO on Stanage Edge has been lifted, as of 9th May......

http://www.glass-uk.org/

AFAIK it still has the "Downhill only" voluntary restriction on it.
