I know there have been a few past threads about aerials but could anyone advise me of the latest situation?

Are the side mounted electric aerials only available from Isuzu at a prohibitive price?

Is it an easy job to adapt a "universal" electric aerial to fit, and if so does anyone have a link to a suitable model/supplier?

Reception wise, would it be better to leave the broken aerial insitu and buy a totally new windscreen type antennae?

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

On my last truck i just bought an old stock eleccy aerial for £15 if my memory serves me correctly it had 5 wires, They were slightly different colours to the truck but wired straight in no problems.

Thanks.
I wondered whether the problem with using a "universal" replacement might be the angle that it fits on the side of the wing.
