Next doors handbrake was stuck on so we pulled the emergency release cord, I have looked online but there are several contradicting stories  Confused
Does anybody know for sure how to reset the system including the release cable  Question

IIRC ...... foot on brake, turn to position two. hold release lever and brake down for 10-15 seconds. Should be fine then. Not done recovery work for couple of years, but remember going to one with a door torn off. She had inadvertently released the h/brake with the over-ride whilst chatting to a neighbour. Rolled back, tore door off and hen she could get the handbrake to work.
