The ones on the Mk1 were chrome, didn't take much cleaning. The Twistymobiles are bare aluminium and are a nightmare to get shiny. They only get done about once a year  Laughing.

She is my pride and joy after all, so you've got to let me have some shininess  Rolling Eyes.

have to say never seen it in the flesh but seen a few pics and alway's thought your mk1 looked really smart ...was very nicely done .....even with the chrome wheels  Wink

although as technology and wisdom gets better i don't think you'd be that impressed with a pic of current truck on a tree stump like that lol

Yeah, oddly enough the guys in the modified class nicked all the decent size logs whilst I was busy taking a convoy of joe public round the off road course.
...and they weren't going to give them back  Rolling Eyes  Laughing

I do miss the old 2.8, She had a proper solid feel to her that the Twistymobile just doesn't have, and she was so reliable.
Her only weak spot was the usual rust in the sliding window runners, oh and that bloody handbrake  Rolling Eyes.

A mildly interesting read i suppose. I just find it shameful.

of my blue one.
