Just ordered 110L from Tesco for £101 delivered, I wonder how much they will actually deliver, they may substitute it for 110L of Extra Virgin or 200 bottles of Flora spray. |

No none at all, I prefer it as it's slightly thinner _________________

Just a thought Dylan, from first use of veg oil, roughly how many miles would you recommend before changing fuel filter?

Just have the spanners available to change the filter (can't remember offhand) and do it when it starts losing power, Only 10 mins at side of road
Could clog at 100 miles or might go 500 miles _________________

I will add that even though at the moment i have no qualms in running 100% veg/sunflower/rapeseed oil as soon as there's a hint of the weather turning i swap to 100% diesel.
A lot of people risk running it in different quantities through the winter but i don't and have never had a problem _________________

As I've said before: If you're not sure about running on pure SVO in Winter or at any other time of year the addition of 5% unleaded in Spring and Autumn will bring the viscosity back to reasonable levels and 10% has - for me - been enough in even the coldest of Winters. _________________ Just about managing to keep mobile with:

Well, all of my 110litres arrived today.
I have been running 100% SVO for the last 3 summers and never had a problem, I do change the fuel filter once a year.
I am also lucky to have a large Tesco near me and they always have a big stock of the 5L containers, just making use of the online £12 discount. |

Our local (Wrexham) Tesco have just reduced 5ltr containers of Veg Oil to £8 for 2.
I'm running my 3.1 on 50/50 at the moment and will go 100% once/if the warm weather arrives. |
