|

had a trip down to see my good mate dylan and picked up some alloy's for my truck ....several day's later and lots of elbow grease, wire wool (in various grases) 2 tubes of autosol and they came up quite nice (will continue to polish up now they're fitted) new 33" rubber fitted and truck is transformed (loved my KL71's but these look even better) a little body lift needed as fronts are catching due mainly to width (12.5") rather than height clearance ............. i now no how twister feels when it comes to polishing his alloy's
a befor and after of one of the alloys to give you an idea
fitted to truck with new 33" rubber
due to better offset alloy's and 12.5" tyres .....they do stick out a tiny bit further

removed front arch exyensions till i do body lift as tyre's are just catching on full lock and would rather take them off than forget about them catching on full lock and ripping one off and breaking/run over it
took truck out for a little play in the snow and to check clearnce ect ..... tyres performed well and climbed this rock (it's a bigger rock than it looks) without even the slightest slip/wheel spin ........ no probs with clearence on back or front so once lift is done front arch extensions should clear no prob

no rubbing on bars rod ....like i mentioned only slight rubbing was on very bottom corner of arches when on full lock so
a little body lift kit i'm making will sort that prob out ...... upto now they seem good tyres ...only been out in snow so not yet tested in mud but i have seen same tyres on mates truck in action in mud and they performed very well .....and a damn sight cheaper than BFG's,KL71's ect ect _________________ LTM NO.41 |

no they're not cented candles ............. they're my new poly body spacers i've had made ...just need to drill holes
when i check bolts to see what size hole is needed .... then off to local fastner company for some extended bolts to suit
i'm going to try and get a price made up for club members as i think i can make them to suit individuals requirements
cheaper than what is currently available ............. fingers crossed
