From what I've read on here and seen on my own engine it's just the one on the 3.1 engine,  but one of the other members on here will be able to tell you a bit more on it.

The 2.8 and 3.1 both have one oil filter. They are different depending on the filter mount.

The 2.8 fitted to the Trooper has the filter mounted on the top (Blueprint part number ADZ92103)
The 2.8 fitted to the Vauxhall Frontera and all 3.1's has the filter pointing downwards (Blueprint part number ADZ92108)

The 3.0 has two filters. A main one (Blueprint part number ADZ92112) and a bypass filter (Blueprint part number ADZ92113)

For completeness sake the 3.2 and 3.5 V6 petrols use the same single filter (Blueprint part number ADS72101)

EDIT: This info has been added to the first post.

In my ignorance, I put a quality 10/40w semi synthetic in the engine first time I changed it and it wasn't a problem. However, ISUZU recommend 5/30w fully synthetic. On subsequent changes 5/30w made cold starts in the winter months MUCH easier.

Another thing to consider when choosing oil for the 4jxi is the low dew point. You want the lowest you can get really because that means is stays "fluid' better at low temperatures. This equates to easy starting And some of the cheaper oils dont  perform as well.
Personally I use Penrite  Castrol edge or Shell h7, depending on what is on sale at the car shops. Once I do change I am looking to buy oil for the next one. I change oil and main filter every 7500km, Small filter at 20,000 km I find that the truck parts shops have the best deals on filters. I use Fleetguard from Cummins Diesel and get a full set [3} for just on $30 NZ

Halfords, Euro car Parts, Eblag and/all motor factors will stock them. Shopping around will get the bargains. Halfords Trade card can make a difference as well. I used to buy my oil from Vauxhall as I had a trade account with them.

The 3.1 is a rugged beast. I use what I find at the time. Halfords (on trade card) or Euro Car Parts are my first go to places

Both Halfords (own brand) and ECP (Gulf) have 5 litres for just over £20.

You could probably find it cheaper elsewhere like eBlag.

Just don't buy stuff like Tesco value.
