Myself and Twister and families had a run round today, He's had no snow at home so 'If the mountain will not come to Muhammad, then Muhammad must go to the mountain' Smile

Few pics from various places in Derbyshire

There were 7 foot+ drifts up this road (near Monsal Head pub)

A6 nice and clear

Bit of snow near Great Longstone (we didn't need Cherpit Lane Smile )

A bit of snow

Nice pair Smile

Cath was actually stuck here (i didn't laugh  Wink )

One of very many dumped cars and trucks

We actually came across a stuck Range Rover Evoque next to this van that had bellied out solid with a father and son in it (not a child) tried to push no chance, Tried waffle boards, No chance, Tried to find a tow point at the rear, There wasn't one Shocked Couldn't get past it as it was blocking the road (or gap through 5 foot of snow) we went round the other way to get him but after about 15 miles ran into 5 foot+ drifts, We later heard (he took Steve's number) that a tractor came for him and in the process of getting him out snapped a driveshaft on the Evoque (Kerr Ching $$$$$$) FORGOT to take a pic of it Embarassed  Evil or Very Mad (oh well)

When the trucks could go no further (or the drivers wouldn't take them)

Twistymobile

The Bighorn with a Big horn

GREAT day out (Thanks Twisty and Family Wink )

AND I DIDN'T LOSE MY PHONE ONCE  Laughing

Can't beleive we didn't get any pics of that stuck Evoque  Rolling Eyes. Mind you, I didn't fancy taking my gloves off to try and use the camera. It wasn't so bad in the sheltered bits, but when that wind was drifting the snow it was proper bitter.

Anyway, thoroughly enjoyed the day, as did the kids. Cheers Dylan, Debi and gang   Cool.

A few more pics.......

Dylan trying to avoid the camera  Laughing...

...and 2 very cold mods

Just in case you come across an Evoque again  Laughing  you take the rear silver bumper trim off and the tow hooks are behind the trim.
