Hopefully make a start next weekend  Laughing (as long as the missus disnae huv too big a jobs list  Confused ) gonna put the 3.1 back to bog stock, MOT it an punt it (hopefully  Rolling Eyes ) so all the bits that went on it over the past few weeks will get swapped over and the 2" body lift that's been sitting in the workshop fer over a year will also be getting fitted as and when I get the time  Confused

Hi Kennymac ,new car is looking better all ready on fresh wheels .Why are you changing hubs? I envy you that timber and fish work up there and used to ride with timber men as a teenager .Done different types of trucking in last 34 years, but never that.Probably too old to learn it now lol

The manual hubs allow the front shafts to be completely disconnected, resulting in less wear and tear on the front cv's/cv boots when the suspension is lifted. Also as a side issue it helps (all be it marginally) with fuel consumption. Another added benefit is you can also use low box in two wheel drive.

As for learnin the timber, yer never to old to learn lol. The hardest part is learnin the off road driving - what feels like abuse is sometimes the only way!  Laughing A combination of finesse and brute force, with a bit of rally driving thrown in for good measure.  Laughing
