Who else on here does shooting for a hobby,
I've been a keen shooter since 1990, used only shoot Deer etc.., but now out in Russia have shot; 1 bear, lynx's, Wolf's, Cappercaille,Blackcock, Elk and many others. Use .308 Rifle to shoot, got about 3 of these and a 12boar shotgun
Anyone else Shoot? |

When I lived in Kiwitahi Valley I used to shoot possums on a regular basis, or give them the bash with a shovel which ever was handy.
Otherwise I would use the .22 mainly for just target shooting; had a .177 slug gun as a starter when I was a young kid. Sold them both when i moved into the city, wouldn't look good having two rifles hanging around the place.
Do you guys use scope / sight, and/or laser spot sights? They seem to be the norm over here, well the scopes anyway. _________________ 1996 Mazda B2500 |

MBW-I use a scope, pretty good, and my eye sights getting worse so need one more now. You're right 2 rifles in the city wouldn't look good

Hi
I shoot quit a bit on indoor ranges and outdoor full-bore rifle ranges, also a lot of deer stalking to about 6 times a year on 3000 acres in Scotland.
There’s nothing better than being out in the forest , piece and quite watching the world go by and the animals to. |
